Professional colour analysis,
without the appointment.
Why we built this
A personal colour analysis session with a trained consultant typically costs $150–$500 — and that's before you factor in travel, waiting lists, and the fact that most cities have fewer than a handful of qualified practitioners.
The knowledge itself isn't rare. The 12-season system has been refined over decades by colour theorists and stylists. What's been rare is access to it — practical, affordable, and on your terms.
ChromaMe was built to close that gap. The same methodology. The same rigour. In 60 seconds, on your device, free to start.
Who this is for
The chronic over-buyer
You own a wardrobe full of clothes and still feel like you have nothing to wear. The problem isn't quantity — it's that half of it works against your colouring.
The one who's always wondered
You've noticed certain colours make you look tired, while others prompt unprompted compliments. You're right. There's a system behind it.
The deliberate dresser
You care about looking intentional — not just following trends. Knowing your palette lets you build a wardrobe with a logic that lasts.
The methodology
Personal colour analysis traces its roots to the Munsell color system — a framework that describes colour in three independent dimensions: hue, value, and chroma. Suzanne Caygill brought it to fashion in the 1950s, and Carole Jackson's Color Me Beautiful (1980) made the four-season model a cultural phenomenon.
The modern 12-season system — refined by analysts like David Zyla and Kathryn Kalisz — breaks each season into three nuanced sub-seasons, capturing the full spectrum of human colouring with far greater precision than the original four.
Your four core colour traits — warmth, depth, clarity, and contrast — are measured across multiple skin zones. Shadowed areas and noise sources are excluded automatically, mirroring how a skilled consultant reads a client in natural light.
Privacy by design
This tool asks for something personal: a bare face, natural light, close enough to read your skin tone and eye colour. The kind of portrait you wouldn't normally hand to a stranger.
You don't have to. The entire analysis — every skin measurement, every colour comparison, every seasonal classification — runs within your browser. Your photo never reaches our servers. Not because we promise not to look. Because there is nowhere for it to go.
If you're self-conscious about how you look — nobody will see the photo. Not us. Not anyone.
If you worry about your image being used to train an AI — it can't be. It never leaves your device.
If you worry about a data breach — there is no database holding your photo. Nothing to breach.
What we do collect
When you purchase a report, we collect your email address to deliver it — and nothing else. No photo. No biometric data. No browsing profile. Your email and the colour results ChromaMe calculated on your device. That's the entire transaction.
See where you land.
Free to start. No account needed. Your photo never leaves your device.
